In our Eco House project, we used the design thinking process to solve real environmental challenges. First, we empathized by learning about climate change, pollution, and how buildings impact the environment. We explored how energy, water, and materials are used in normal houses, and what problems this creates for the planet.
Next, we defined the main problem: How can we design a modern, eco-friendly house that is both affordable and sustainable? We focused on making a house that uses less energy, reduces waste, and fits into a healthy lifestyle.
In the ideation stage, we brainstormed solutions like installing solar panels, using rainwater collection systems, adding large windows for natural light, and building with recycled or local materials.
Then, we moved on to prototyping, where we created sketches, 3D models, and presentations to show what our eco house would look like and how it works.
Finally, we tested our ideas by getting feedback from classmates and teachers, then improving the design. We learned that eco-friendly homes can be practical, beautiful, and good for the Earth. This project helped us think critically and creatively about real-world problems and how to solve them through design.
